We are very pleased to announce an exciting prospect for Stortford Divers. Following the committee meeting on Monday 13th March we have agreed a important principle which will make our Diving club the premier club in the area.
In the next few weeks our Colleagues at 2 Dive 4 will be working closely with us in what is termed a “Partnering Agreement”.
Stortford Divers and 2 Dive 4 will mutually promote each other and in the near future you will see posters with the terminology “ in partnership with” appearing in the 2 Dive 4 shop and on our notice boards.
This is a development of the relationship that has existed with 2 Dive 4 and Stortford Divers for the last few years. During this period we have understood each others organisations and recognised each other's strengths and this is the next logical step.
The First thing that you will notice is that 2 Dive 4 will share the pool with us on Thursday nights to carry out Try Dives.
2 Dive 4 will encourage their customers to join Stortford Divers and BSAC, therefore we are expecting an influx of new members to join us in diving and socialising.
Stortford Divers will remain a BSAC Club as it is recognised that BSAC adopt the best practices to be an active safe diving club.
2 dive 4 will benefit from increased facilities and the ability to offer a level of aftercare for their customers to ensure that they participate in the Sport of Diving in a safe and fun environment without the bureaucracy and liabilities of organising a Club.
This Partnership recognises a local and national trend that there are more and more training organisations in the market place which carry out training to a high standard. BSAC however have 53 years of experience of running Diving Clubs that carry out thousands of dives to the highest of standards and in our case 22 years of excellent diving.
Together we can continue what we do best and Stortford Divers will continue with our “pay as you go “ training model for all levels of diving as we believe this offers another facet to the local diving community.
