Stortford Divers BSAC Branch 1385, is based in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Club night is Thursday. We meet at Grange Paddocks Pool from 9pm till 10pm and then at The Bishop's Stortford Sports Trust (Cricket Club), Cricket Field Lane from 10pm till Late. (Streetmap)

The club was established in 1984 and has around 100 members, with at least 30 active British Divers.

The club organises diving trips within the UK for its members - some for only a day, others for weekends and sometimes for longer overseas.  So what ever your commitments you're bound to be able to fit in some UK diving - if you want to!  The majority of UK dives take place between April and October, usually for 12 divers, from places such as Plymouth, Brighton, Lyme Bay Portsmouth, Poole, Weymouth and the beautiful Farne Islands off the north-east coast.  The club arranges the dive boat and, if you are not living on a boat for the weekend, then accommodation is also booked on your behalf as well.  For the land-based trips it has not been unknown for divers to also come along with their families/non-diving partners, and make it a weekend away for the whole family.

We are an active training branch and run a full program of Ocean Diver, Sport Diver, Dive Leader and Advanced Diver Courses. We can run the majority of BSAC Skill Development courses in-club, and regularly do! 

We also offer cross over courses if you have learnt with one organisation and wished to progress your training with BSAC.
